Countywide Trails

Santa Clara County Parks is charged with planning and implementation of the Countywide Trails Master Plan, an element of the Parks and Recreation Section of the County General Plan, which envisions a comprehensive network of over 800 miles of regional, sub-regional, and connector trails throughout Santa Clara County. Although responsibility for the actual construction and long-term management of each individual trail varies, County Parks provides general oversight and coordination of the overall trails system.
