Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation - Visitor Services & Facilities
This Deputy Director will be responsible for assisting the Director in ensuring that the Department meets the operational functionality,
maintenance and programming of a regional park system, specifically through quality visitor services, public safety, public engagement
through programing and safe and maintained park facilities. This Deputy Director will be responsible for providing leadership in the
management of the Visitor Services and Facilities Divisions of the Department, including Park Ranger Operations, Park Maintenance
Services, Interpretation and Outdoor Recreation Programing, Environmental Health and Safety Compliance, Specialty Parks
Operations, and Strategic Partnerships and Volunteerism for the Regional Park system.
Park Maintenance Worker I
The Park Maintenance Worker I is the entry level position who performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in connection with the development and maintenance of County Parks and Recreation Facilities. Park Maintenance Workers have opportunities to gain and develop experience in various tasks and work collectively on the improvement, maintenance, protection and preservation of the beautiful natural, cultural and historic resources that make Santa Clara County Parks one of the most interesting places to work.
