Almaden Quicksilver County Park

The Mining Museum may be closed Friday, September 20 from 12pm-4pm due to a possible PG&E maintenance power outage.

The McAbee entrance will be closed on Thursday, September 19 from 8 am to 4 pm for emergency paving. Please use the Hacienda or Mockingbird Hill entrances instead.
Alviso Marina County Park

Parking Lot Closure: The Alviso Marina parking lot will be closed starting Friday, October 11 until Monday, October 14 at Noon for our annual Day on the Bay event on October 13, 10am-3pm. Please join us on the 13th for FUN festivities and activities.

Levee closures are in effect until construction activities are completed. Closures include parts of the Alviso Slough Trail and sections of the Mallard Slough Trail at Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Coyote Lake Harvey Bear Ranch County Park

Campground Closure: The entire Lake View Campgrounds, including the RV Camping Sites 1-18, will be closed from September 9 to September 27, 2024 due to a paving project. The shower and restroom buildings within the campground will also be closed during this time.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the entrance road from San Martin into the Harvey Bear portion of Coyote Lake will be reduced to one lane at a time for the striping. The project's hours of operation will be from approximately 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. The public will have normal access to the parking lot, and there will be no park road/trail closures.
Calero County Park

Cal Fire SCU and Santa Clara County Parks will host a prescribed fire of approximately 165 acres from October 8 to October 9, 2024. For public safety, portions of the park will be closed to visitors during the firing operations.
Ed R. Levin County Park

The Azores Trail and the Los Coches Ridge Trail (between Junctions #53 and #68) are closed to equestrians due to wet conditions.

Field Sports Park
- The Trap and Skeet Range will be open during construction. Check-in will be located at the trailer north of the Trap and Skeet Range. The Field Sports Park Clubhouse is being remodeled and under construction from Monday, May 13, 2024, to Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Joseph D. Grant County Park
- Cal Fire SCU and Santa Clara County Parks will host a prescribed fire from October 9 to October 12, 2024. Park portions will be closed to visitors during the firing operations for public safety. On October 9 and 10, the park south of HWY 130 will be impacted. The Stockman’s Group Site, San Felipe, Cook House, Rose Garden Group Day Use areas, and the Equestrian Campground will be closed. On October 11 and 12, the northeast corner of the park will be affected due to the firing operation in the Deer Valley area of the park.
Los Gatos Creek County Park

There is a partial closure of the Los Gatos Creek Trail due to unsafe conditions. A short detour is available for the 100’ section of trail that is closed.
Metcalf Motorcylce Park

The park will be closed for normal day-use riding from Friday, October 11, to Sunday, October 13, due to the 2024 Coyote Creek Sprint Enduro race. Riders are welcome and encouraged to join for a fee. Please see the Metcalf Motorcycle Park Facebook Group for more information.
Penitencia Creek
- Upper Penitencia Creek is closed year-round to fishing.
Sanborn County Park

The bridge on the single-track section of the Waterfall Loop has been closed due to safety concerns. To bypass it, use the adjacent fire road. Review the map for details.

Uvas Creek Trail to the bottom section of the Lower Swanson Creek Trail, including the Lower Falls Trail due to safety concerns and repairs.
