Stephen Cassidy - Land Steward, Santa Teresa County Park
“When I am volunteering as a landscape steward at Santa Teresa County Park, passerby often tell me I have a great job—fresh air, beautiful scenery, and physical exercise. I get all that and more from my volunteer service. Simple tasks such as removing invasive plants, planting an acorn, or maintaining a trail have a domino effect on the health of the environment and on enjoyment by park visitors. What a great way to leave a legacy for future generations!"
Provide a readily available, hospitable presence in campgrounds and parks, and assist with park services.
