Park Notes  

  • Native Ohlone people inhabited area for thousands of years.  

  •  Beautiful park with five ecological zones, wonderful views, and abundant wildlife and flora.  

  •  Public phones, restrooms, visitor center, picnic tables, benches along trails, paved parking, water fountain. 

  •  Park has campgrounds with 117 Reservable campsites in 3 different areas, 20 with partial hookups for RVs. Call (408) 355-2201 for camping reservations. 

Trail Info & Highlights  

  • Travel through diverse habitat from mixed oak to coast hardwood, redwood, serpentine, chamise and mixed chaparral.   

  • Trail is a loop with about 60% shade cover.  

  • Abundant wildlife includes the California quail, raptors, wild turkeys, turkey vultures, black-tailed deer, wild pigs, coyotes.
