To prevent the spread of quagga and zebra mussels into Santa Clara County
reservoirs, boating is carefully regulated. Vessels must originate from a permissible
area within the State of California. Operators must present proper registration or
documentation of vessel origination. And, the vessel must pass a vessel inspection.
Our reservoirs are open on a seasonal schedule that may vary due to changing
water levels. Make sure you understand our rules and regulations before you travel
