Are you interested in soaring through the air with your model aircraft?
Santa Clara County Parks offers two model airfields. One airfield is located at Santa Clara County Model Airfield at Coyote Creek Parkway. The second location is at Rancho San Antonio County Park under the supervision of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space.
The Santa Clara County Model Airfield is usable by club members through an approved annual permit provided by Santa Clara County Parks to the local club Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark (SCCMAS) "Tomcats". Visit their website for membership, rules & regulations, and further information: SCCMAS. More information about Permits can be found on our Permits information page.
Rancho San Antonio County Park provides non-gas powered model airplane enthusiasts a staging area adjacent to the parking lots near the park entrance for take-offs and landings and fly their aircraft above the South Meadow area.
