Archery

Three public use archery ranges are located at the following County Parks. 1.Stevens Creek County Park (Cupertino area) 2.Santa Teresa County Park (South San Jose) 3.Mount Madonna County Park (South County, west of Gilroy)

Field Sports Park

The County's only publicly owned firing range provides opportunities for rifle and pistol, as well as trap and skeet shooting. League activity and special events take place year-round. Located in south San Jose, Field Sports Park is staffed and supervised by qualified rangemasters at all times.

Golf Course

Hit a few balls at our golf courses. Two public golf courses are operated on property leased from the County Parks Department.

Horseshoes

Throw a few ringers while you enjoy your day outside. Twenty four first-come, first-served horseshoe pits are available within six of our regional parks.

Model Airfield

Are you interested in soaring through the air with your model aircraft? Santa Clara County Parks offers two model airfields.

Metcalf Motorcycle

Welcome to Motorcycle County Park, the County park system's only off-road vehicle park. This 445 acre park is located in the grass covered hills of south east Santa Clara Valley. Motorcycle County Park offers trails for the advanced and beginner motorcyclist and ATV rider.

Orienteering

Three courses are available at Vasona Lake County Park. A printed color map for each of the three courses can be picked up at the park entrance kiosk. The courses are suitable for beginner through intermediate levels of orienteering.

Velodrome

Welcome to Hellyer County Park Velodrome, Northern California’s only dedicated bicycle racing facility. The velodrome, operated within Santa Clara County’s Hellyer Park, has offered bike racing opportunities for beginner through world-class racers since 1963.

Volleyball

Eleven first-come, first-served sand volleyball courts are available within six of our regional parks. Volleyball is a great outdoor activity for groups and a wonderful addition to any picnic gathering.
