Spring Valley Habitat Hike
Sunday, January 29th | 10:00am - 11:30am.
Location: Spring Valley Entrance at Ed Levin County Park
Come along for a guided hike among the oak woodland and grassland habitats at Ed Levin County Park. Discover birds, mammals, and more and learn what makes these special habitats home to so many diverse animals. This moderate 1.2 mile hike requires some uphill hiking on portions of uneven terrain and is best suited for ages 8+. A $6 parking fee is required.

The Stupendous Women of Santa Clara Valley Ranches

Throughout its history, many incredible women have lived in the Santa Clara Valley. A look back at its ranches in the 19th and 20th centuries offers the chance to examine the lives of a few of the women who stood out from everyone else. Best for ages 15+.

Quicksilver History Hike

Location: Almaden Quicksilver County Park - Wood Road Entrance
Join a Park Interpreter on a 3-4 mile hike in the Almaden Hills and discover how the processing of cinnabar into mercury was significant to the success of the California Gold Rush and the development of California as a state. Best for ages 10+.
