Careers in Park Ranger Operations

Park Ranger Operations consists of everything from the first face you see at the park entrance when greeted by Park Service Attendants or our Park Rangers who are entrusted with protecting and preserving our regional park lands. Park Rangers not only patrol the parks but also provide medical assistance as a first responder. Customer service is a common priority across all our programs and our staff are committed to keeping parks safe for all to enjoy.

Park Ranger Operations also includes our specialty parks:

• Field Sports Park, where you will meet our expert Parks Rangemasters and have the opportunity to use our well maintained and safe shooting ranges and trap and skeet fields.
• Metcalf Motorcycle Park, where our knowledgeable and trained Park Rangers specialize in off road trail use and motocross special events. 
• Martial Cottle Park, our most recent agricultural park that has many community partners and educational programs offered to the public as well as the historical Cottle House and barn.
