Camping and Picnic Site Reservations

Reservations may be made up to 6 months in advance of the departure date and no less than 1 calendar day prior to the date of use. Reservations for weddings and group camping sites for youth groups may be made up to 1 year in advance and no less than 1 calendar day prior to the date of use.

Camping

Santa Clara County Parks offers camping at five of our 28 regional parks. We offer tent camping, RV camping, yurts, hike in camp sites and group camping with discounted rates for off season camping.

Camping, Group Picnic and Wedding Reservation Rules

Your Wedding and/or Reception is a distinctive event at Santa Clara County Parks. Weddings/Receptions have additional procedures, paperwork, fees and include special amenities that are not available with a regular group reservation. We want your special day to be perfect! To ensure that everything runs smoothly, please call the reservations office at (408) 355-2201 to make your reservation.

Permits

A Permit is required for any activities outside of established Santa Clara County Parks standards, click for more information.
Examples of required permit usage include, but are not limited to - Special Events, Sales of Any Services or Products, Commercial Photography, Filming, Drone Usage, and other park usage outside of Parks Standards.

Boating

A reservation is recommended for each powered vessel and/or craft on weekends and holidays starting Memorial Day weekend through the end of September for Calero County Park. Our reservoirs are open on a seasonal schedule that may vary due to changing water levels. Make sure you understand our rules and regulations before you travel to a Santa Clara County reservoir.
