Annual Passes
You may obtain an Annual Pass in several ways:

- At the park: You may purchase a pass at any staffed entrance station, or you may use the automated ticket vending machine found at most entrances or parking lots. The machines takes credit cards (Visa, MasterCard and Discover). The machine dispenses a receipt that you mail or bring into the Parks Administration Office (Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm), and we will exchange the receipt for a Venture Pass. Fold and Tear/Cut the receipt in half and display the upper half in your vehicle until your permanent pass arrives within one to two weeks.

Mail: Fill out an Annual Pass Application (see attachment at bottom of page). The completed application along with check (made payable to SCC Parks) may be presented in person at the Parks Administration Office or mailed to the Santa Clara County Parks Department, 298 Garden Hill Drive, Los Gatos, CA 95032-7669. In addition payment may be made by calling our Parks Administrative Office at (408) 355-2200, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Have your Visa, MasterCard or Discover card ready.
Annual Passes can be obtained for the following categories.
Annual Vehicle ENTRANCE Pass
- Annual Vehicle Entrance Passes cover all vehicle entrance fees at all Santa Clara County Parks, excluding Sunnyvale Baylands Park.
- Annual Passes are valid for one year from date of purchase.
- Annual Vehicle Entrance Passes are $95.
- All persons 60 years and older qualify (ID Confirmation Required) to receive a 50% discount off the regular Annual Vehicle Entry Pass price. After the eligible discount has been applied, the pass is $48.
- Annual Passes are non-refundable and current full purchase price is required to replace lost or stolen passes. Damaged or unreadable passes may be exchanged at no charge when the damaged or unreadable pass is surrendered to a park office.
- Passes are not applicable for camping, boating reservations, special park events or other park use fees unless otherwise stated in this document or by special posting at the park location.

Eligibility for the program is based on one of the following criteria:
1. Families and individuals receiving public assistance such as: Medi‐Cal, CalFresh, SSI or participating in the CalWORKs program.
2. Families and individuals receiving Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS) such as: Prevention Programs, Family Support, Early Intervention, Safety & Wellbeing, and Resource Families.
3. Customers/families who are using resources at the DFCS San Jose or Gilroy Family Centers
General Information About Annual Vessel Launch and Inspection Passes
- Annual Vessel Launch and Inspection Passes cover all launch and/or inspection fees for power and non-power boating vessels at all Santa Clara County Parks which allow boating.
- Annual Passes are valid for one year from date of purchase.
- Annual passes for vessels (CF) are $90 each. A non-CF vessel annual pass is $50. An annual vessel inspection pass is $70.
- Annual Passes are non-refundable and current full purchase price is required to replace lost or stolen passes. Damaged or unreadable passes will be exchanged at no charge when the damaged or unreadable pass is surrendered to a park office.
- All Annual Vehicle Entry Passes are NOT valid for lake use, camping, or reservation fees. Standard rules and regulations apply.
General Information About Active Military Pass Discount
A Discount on Annual Vehicle Entry Passes for parks operated by the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department is available to active or reserve members of the Armed Forces or California National Guard in pay grades E-4 or below and their families.
Eligibility for the program is based upon:
- Providing a Department of Defense Military Identification card identifying the applicant as either an active or reserve member of the Armed Forces or National Guard in pay grades E-4 or below; or provide a Dependent Identification Card of either an active or reserve member of the Armed Forces or a California National Guard in pay grades E-4 or below; and
- Providing proof of residency within Santa Clara County
Because verification of eligibility status must be made, passes can only be obtained through the Parks Department Administration Office at 298 Garden Hill Drive, Los Gatos 95032. Annual Passes are valid every day of the year from 8:00 a.m. to sunset at all County Parks and are not applicable towards lake use, boating reservations, special park events, camping or other park use fees. The discount for eligible military individuals is 50% off the regular annual vehicle entrance pass price. Each family may receive one pass per year, any additional passes may be purchased at the regular price.

General Information About the Alviso Marina Gate Key Program
Santa Clara County Alviso Marina is the primary access in Santa Clara County for vessel owners to launch into San Francisco Bay. Santa Clara County Parks are closed from sunset to 8:00 am daily. Fishermen and hunters who want access to the launch ramp after hours will need to purchase an annual Gate Key.
To purchase a Gate Key, you must complete the Alviso Marina County Park Gate Key Form, (at bottom of page) read, sign and submit with current payment to the Santa Clara County Parks Administration Office, attention ALVISO, at 5965 Silver Creek Valley Road San José, CA 95138. The annual Gate Key pass is $75. The replacement of the Gate Key is $25.
- Effective May 1, 2016 the Senior Lifetime Pass is no longer available for purchase.
- All Senior Lifetime Passes sold before 5/1/16 will be honored as promised. If you lose your Senior Lifetime Pass and we are able to confirm the lifetime pass sale prior to 5/1/16 within our system, we are happy to issue you a new pass at the replacement fee rate of $35. If we are unable to verify your original purchase of a lifetime pass, no replacement will be provided.
- The discontinued senior lifetime pass has been replaced with a discounted price on our Annual Vehicle Entry pass.
- All persons 60 years and older qualify (ID Confirmation Required) to receive a 50% discount off the regular Annual Vehicle Entry Pass. After the senior discount has been applied, the pass is $48.
