Ed Levin Maintenance Staff need a hand in pulling weeds, clearing brush, clearing drainage around the lake, and removing all of the tape and staples left behind from all of the events held at their picnic sites in 2021. There are 3 different Volunteer Opportunities to Choose from, located in different parts of Ed Levin Park. Please review the 3 different "shifts" available to confirm your meeting location and the details of the projects.
For All Shifts: Please bring sturdy work gloves and work boots. Be ready to get a little muddy, depending on which activity you participate in. Please also bring a refillable water container and dress in layers for working in cool weather.
Important COVID-19 update
To protect County personnel, the community members with whom County personnel interact, and all residents of the county, the County will require all County personnel (including volunteers) 12 years of age and older to be fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on boosters for which they are eligible**, subject to limited exceptions. Proof of vaccination status shall be provided onsite at the start of service (via paper vaccination card, a photo of that card, or a digital SMART Health Card issued by the State of California). **Fully vaccinated means it has been at least 2 weeks since a person has completed the entire recommended series of a COVID-19 vaccine. Up-to-date on boosters means a person is fully vaccinated and has also obtained any booster doses of a COVID-19 vaccination for which they are eligible as authorized or approved by the FDA.
