Become a Junior Ranger!
Youth ages 9-11 are invited to join park staff as we explore, learn about, and respect nature at selected parks from June-August. Participants who attend 3 or more activities and complete a Junior Ranger logbook can earn their Junior Ranger badge and certificate. At least one of the 3 Junior Ranger activities must be a Junior Ranger program from the list below, but other programs including staff-led campfire talks, guided walks, park events, and self-guided hikes can count toward the badge. All Junior Ranger activities are free, but parking fees may apply. To ensure safety, a parent or guardian must participate with anyone under 18 years old.
Hand in your completed Junior Ranger logbook at any of the below events or mail it to Attn: Michelle Armijo, 298 Garden Hill Drive., Los Gatos, CA 95032
