We’ll explore the agricultural history of the Cottle/Lester ranch and learn about the park’s current farming practices, partners and sustainable features. The program lasts about an hour and includes a short mile walk on flat terrain.

Watch the exciting track bike racing season at Hellyer County Park Velodrome. Races are held every Wednesday night through Sept 21. Come out and watch up to two hours of non-stop racing action under the lights!

The track opens around 6pm and racing starts promptly at 6:45pm. The racers consist of various groups: women and men, beginners through experts. Come explore the park on a ~1 mile guided walk and practice your observation skills as we discover the wildlife that calls this place home.  Best for ages 3+. Meet at the fishing pier (Pier Parking Lot).

Explore the community of animals, plants, and people that call San Francisco Bay home on this 1 1/2 hour boat ride. Discover our region’s natural history and how we have shaped – and protected – our shoreline over time. Minimum age 8.

Watch "Jungle Cruise" at Field Sports County Park tonight. Bring a blanket or low-back lawn chairs and enjoy an evening under the stars. 
Parking is $6 per vehicle and movie starts after sundown. Note: Dogs are not allowed on movie nights.

The San Jose Zouaves Juniors Program is held on the second Saturday of every month, and all shooters must be signed in by 8:30 AM. Depending on group size, you can expect the day to complete anywhere from 11:30 AM - 1PM. The program is open to children from 10-20 years of age and is free to all. However if you wish to donate to the Program we will gladly accept a contribution of $5 per shooter to help cover ammunition and target costs.
