Located on Skyline Boulevard (Highway 35), the Sunnyvale Mountain trailhead provides access to the Skyline Trail, John Nicholas Trail and the Sunnyvale Mountain Loop trail. The portion of John Nicholas Trail at this location is moderately steep, and Skyline Trail and Sunnyvale Mountain Loop are relatively flat. Parking is limited, a porta potty is located just beyond the service gate. There is no water at the trailhead.
